 the mind becomes calm and introverted, and it is therefore useful in counteracting states of anxiety. When the awareness is shifted from the spine or any part of the body to the mind space, then a mild shambhavi mudra may happen automatically.


Avoid this pose if you have any serious back injury.People with neck injuries should keep the head in a neutral position or use a folded blanket to support the neck during the asana.
